MBUX multimedia system High
With MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), you have a particularly powerful and expandable multimedia system. Its various interfaces and high-resolution displays offer numerous communication and infotainment functions. The additional computing power provides the basis for further functions. Our driving assistance and safety systems are merely aids, and do not relieve you of your responsibility as the driver. Please take note of the information in the Owner's Manual and the system limits described in it. The use of some Digital Extras requires the permanent acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use as amended, the permanent linking of the vehicle with the Mercedes-Benz user account, the consent to the storage and retrieval of information necessary for the activation of some Digital Extras in the linked vehicle and – where applicable – the activation of the Digital Extras. At the end of limited terms, Digital Extras can be extended for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided they are still available for the vehicle in question at that time. In addition, there may be further usage requirements or restrictions for the use of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer contract with a third-party provider (e.g. streaming, conclusion of a data contract for "Comfort data volume", navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to ensure functionality or selected products from third-party providers (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to "Comfort data volume", the customer's own data volume (e.g. mobile hotspot) must be used, depending on the generation of your multimedia system. Touchpad
The touchpad increases ease of operation and helps you to use the important vehicle functions fast, simply and intuitively. It is ergonomically arranged and complements the other input options such as the controller and voice control. The haptic feedback facilitates operation further.
Digital Extra: Smartphone Integration
Smartphone Integration connects your mobile phone with the multimedia system via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto®. This way, you enjoy convenient access to the most important apps on your smartphone. And you can also quickly and easily use third-party apps such as Spotify. Apple CarPlay™ is a product of Apple Inc. Android Auto is a product of Google Inc. Device and app providers’ terms and conditions and privacy policy apply to the supply and use of these functions. Functions require compatible device and data plan. Data plan fees and charges are those applicable to the users compatible device. Apps, content and their features are determined by the relevant provider and not Mercedes-Benz. Vehicle audio/infotainment interface may not be used simultaneously with these functions. When functions are active, steering-wheel voice control button uses Siri® or Google voice recognition software for voice commands. Phone and internet compatability, connectivity and capabilities differ between devices, markets and vehicles. With the wireless charging system for mobile devices, you can conveniently charge your inductively chargeable smartphone in the centre console storage compartment while driving: without cables, plugs or holders - regardless of model and brand. So driving time becomes charging time.
