Digital Extra: Smartphone Integration
Smartphone integration wirelessly connects the mobile phone to the MBUX multimedia system via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. This gives you convenient access to the most important apps on your smartphone. You can also use apps from third-party providers such as Spotify quickly and easily. Apple CarPlay™ is a product of Apple Inc. Android Auto is a product of Google Inc. Device and app providers’ terms and conditions and privacy policy apply to the supply and use of these functions. Functions require compatible device and data plan. Data plan fees and charges are those applicable to the users compatible device. Apps, content and their features are determined by the relevant provider and not Mercedes-Benz. Vehicle audio/infotainment interface may not be used simultaneously with these functions. When functions are active, steering-wheel voice control button uses Siri® or Google voice recognition software for voice commands. Phone and internet compatability, connectivity and capabilities differ between devices, markets and vehicles. Fingerprint sensor
With the fingerprint scanner you unlock access to your personal data. These include profiles or even payment functions. Touching the colour-illuminated button is a quick and convenient way to identify yourself. This is secure and also more straightforward than entering a PIN.
All-digital instrument display
Customise the large-format, high-resolution 10.25-inch display to your preference, Classic, Sporty or Understated.
USB Package Plus
With a total of 5 USB-C ports and a 12 V socket, you and your passengers can easily charge mobile devices. All onboard USB ports are also discreetly backlit and have a fast-charging capability. Using devices connected in the front, you can also import data such as your stored music to the MBUX multimedia system.
Advanced Sound System
With 10 speakers and 225 watts of system power, you can also enhance your driving pleasure acoustically. The loudspeaker system, which is precisely tuned to the interior, offers you dynamic music reproduction.
Wireless charging for mobile devices - front
With just a simple hand movement your smartphone is fixed in place in the oddments tray where it is charged wirelessly. Irrespective of the model and brand, compatible smartphones are charged wirelessly.

Modern MBUX
Intuitive operation and adaptive software to personalise your driving experience.[2][1] The use of certain Digital Extras requires the continuous acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use in their respective current versions, the permanent pairing of the vehicle with the Mercedes-Benz user account, the consent to the storage and retrieval of necessary information to activate some Digital Extras within the paired vehicle and - where applicable - the activation of the Digital Extras. After the expiration of limited runtimes, Digital Extras can be extended for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided that they are still offered for the respective vehicle at that time. Furthermore, there may be additional prerequisites or restrictions for the usage of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer-owned contract with a third-party provider (e.g., streaming, conclusion of a data contract for "Comfort Data Volume“, navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to secure full functionality or selected third-party products (e.g., smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to the "Comfort Data Volume" a customer-owned data volume (e.g., mobile hotspot) must be used depending on the generation of your multimedia system. Information on the personal data processed for the usage of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Statement for Digital Extras. The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers. Please also refer to any instructions in your vehicle's operating manual. It is the charging network of the third-party provider.
